When people reach a certain age, they will always have a question about why they are here in the world, what is their value of a being. They would have a thought of they are not needed. The world is a big place and every normal individual are like ants in the desert, too small to even notice. Existentialism is a philosophical movement in which individual human beings are understood as having full responsibility for creating the meanings of their own lives. The main character of the book is just going through a process of life of finding his own value of life. Meursault seems to have no care on anything, even his mom's death. Everyting to him is just meaningless, he is isolated from the moral society. His life is just so boring that he didn't know what his desire or dream is, he is lose in the society.
The part I am responsible for is about the opposite force to the main character Meursault. I didn't read a lot about the book, I am at chapter 3. The opposite force is not appear in the story yet. But according to the plot I read, the main opposite force is Meursault's internal conflict.
